Do you have a Covid-19 holiday voucher?

Due to recent changes surrounding Covid-19 and to comply with Government regulations throughout the last few months we unfortunately had to issue Covid-19 cancellations vouchers. These vouchers were issued to customers who;

  • were forced to cancel their 2020 holiday.
  • chose to cancel their holiday due to the travel restrictions.
  • chose to cancel their holiday due to Covid-19 concerns.

We treated this as a force majeure event and customers impacted were given a Covid-19 holiday voucher which they can use to rebook the same holiday home within a 12-month period.

What does Force Majeure mean?

If as a consequence of “Force Majeure”, Trident Holiday Homes is forced to curtail, alter or cancel a holiday, we will allow you to carry forward amounts paid for accommodation (excluding any amounts paid for Booking Fees) to another holiday taken at the same location within 12 months of your booked holiday. We will also waive 50% of the applicable booking fee on any new booking. For more information read here.

When should I rebook my holiday?

If you have a Covid-19 holiday voucher now would be the perfect time to rebook your holiday for 2021. Many of the popular holiday destinations are booking up fast for peak season, especially the month of July. We have limited availability in many of our top holiday destinations, so please remember to book early to avoid disappointment.

How do I redeem my Covid-19 holiday voucher?

To redeem your Covid-19 voucher, you must contact our call centre.

Friday: 9.00 AM – 5.00 PM

Alternatively, outside office hours you could make a booking on-line via our website using ‘Bank Transfer’ as the payment method on the booking page. Please include your previous booking reference in the ‘comment’ section, we will then arrange to contact you during office hours to finalise your booking.

How long do I have to redeem my Covid-19 holiday voucher?

Your voucher can be used to rebook the same holiday home within a 12-month period only.

Where can I use my Covid-19 holiday voucher?

The Covid-19 voucher is redeemable at the same location you originally booked. However if the holiday home you originally booked has limited or no availability we would be happy to discuss an alternative holiday home with you.

We cannot promise that we can facilitate your booking in an alternative holiday home as this must be discussed and agreed with the holiday home Owner.
